Lorenza was born in Rotterdam as one of four children to her Dutch father and her South Moluccas (Indonesian) mother. Her musical talent showed very early in the school choir, at playback shows and theater performances. Her next stations were the sopranos in the church choir and various talent competitions, where she got to know the stage early on. After taking first place in two major talent competitions in Rotterdam, she took part in her first foreign song festival in Romania, where she took fourth place in front of a crowed of 10,000 people .

In Romania she met her first producer. Together with Chris Flanger and the American rapper D-Smoove, the project "LORENZA" was founded, of which 2 CDs were released.

The first successful single "Show Me Your Love", produced by the record company ZYX Records, was released in 1995. The track "And The Beat Goes On", produced by BMG Ariola, climbed into the German Top 100 in 1996. Their last CD was a charity Project for children published by "Hand in Hand Concept" at Christmas 1997. From 1995 to 1997 Lorenza toured with well-known artists such as the Back Street Boys, Captain Jack, Mister President, Rednex, Caught in the Act, Shaggy.

since 4 years lorenza is living in Curaçao one of the Dutch islands we call these islands the ABC islands the Antillen. there she is Singing with Tico Robertto and Friends in Places Like Avila Hotel Beach, Hemmingway Beach, and Sandels curacao Resort. Lorenza lived in Suriname (south america) for 9 months where she played with wonderfull jazz musicians like Jim Westfa and Jason Eduwani .

She married her First love Mr Verhage in 2023 and is living with here 3 dogs and 2 Cats , here Sons are still living in Germany where lorenza is flying over regularly.
Lorenza is Teaching Belting and Belcanto what she learned in her younger years of Charles Vermeer in Rotterdam. Not only is she a good teacher but aswel a good User of these Body Singing skills of the Belcanto and Belting Technik. It's lorenza's passion since 14 years Teaching

The years After Lorenza found Sang in Bands in the South west of Germany like The band 'Cover Up' from Pforzheim (BW) she is a member of the band since juli 1999. since 2021 lorenza moved to the Caribean island CURACAO' but has never left the Band,
